‘Fur Elise’ was drawn digitally using a tablet. Each stroke was recorded and after the drawing was complete I sped up the recording and added music. Made for a music-loving friend who shares the titular name of the song.

This is a lyric video I made for the song ‘To Build a Home’ by The Cinematic Orchestra. This is my favorite song from this band. The video follows a family’s life story and the animation is drawn in an inky pen-style with a vintage filter.

The Journey

The Journey is a multimedia project, following the life of a flower as it ages. The flower, at its peak, is drawn with little detail, however, the detail in each drawing increases each time the flower ages. Much like in our journeys, the beauty, growth, and change we experience can be boundless and sometimes surprising. The journey so often transcends our expectations of it.

This section of the project focused on society's overuse of smartphones, social media, and technology in general. As the character scrolls through his phone without glancing up, he also scrolls through his life, missing the beauty that surrounds him.
